How to Participate

Updated on April 6, 2016

Participate as an agriculture advisor

If you work as a farmer, with farmers, or for an NGO, public or private entity involved with agriculture, you may have the type of expertise that can help guide your team to solve agriculture challenges. If you think you might have the skills or knowledge to provide, and there is an upcoming Hack4Farming event in your area, reach out to us! Please note that the attendance list for Hack4Farming events may fill up, and may close several weeks prior to the event to allow us to finalize planning.

Participate as a team member

Do you work as a software developer, engineer, or data analyst, and would you like to use these skills to help improve global agriculture? If so, and if there is an upcoming Hack4Farming event in your area, reach out to us! Please note that, as above, the attendance list for Hack4Farming events may fill up, and may close several weeks prior to the event.

Propose a co-hosting partnership

If you are a member of a government agency, NGO, research institution or other agricultural entity and your organization would like to co-host a Hack4Farming event in your area, we'd love to hear from you! Hack4Farming events are planned collaboratively, and the types of participants as well as the challenge addressed can be modified to fit a particular set of goals. We are continuously looking to expand our hackathons into new areas to build technology bridges for local agriculture around the world. For more information about our past events, our partners, clients and other work, please reach out to us.
